ROBERT PAUL YANN SAVOIE ACCEPTED TO THE CQFA PILOT SCHOOL OF CHICOUTIMI

Chicoutimi, Quebec — 1989

Robert Paul Yann Savoie has been accepted into the Centre québécois de formation aéronautique (CQFA) in Chicoutimi, beginning an important new chapter in his aviation career.

The CQFA, operated through the Cégep de Chicoutimi, is known for its specialized aviation training program and for preparing students for professional careers in aviation.

Before entering the CQFA, Robert Paul Yann Savoie studied Natural Sciences during the 1988–1989 academic year.

For the 1989–1990 academic year, he was admitted to the CQFA and completed 10 courses, including four pilot-training courses.

His admission marked the beginning of formal professional pilot training and reflected a long-standing interest in aviation and flying.

The record also confirms that Robert Paul Yann Savoie later had a “contrat de réussite” with the institution in the fall of 1991.

For Robert Paul Yann Savoie, being accepted into the CQFA represented more than simply starting another school program.

It was the beginning of the pursuit of a professional aviation career.

ROBERT PAUL YANN SAVOIE — ACCEPTED TO THE CQFA PILOT SCHOOL OF CHICOUTIMI.

Contemporary written confirmation from counsel for Cégep de Chicoutimi confirms that Robert Paul Yann Savoie studied Natural Sciences in 1988–1989 and was admitted to the CQFA for the 1989–1990 academic year, where he completed 10 courses, including 4 pilot-training courses.

More than three decades later, the school’s own legal representatives have confirmed in writing that I attended the Centre québécois de formation aéronautique (CQFA) in Chicoutimi.

A contemporary confirmation of an important part of my aviation history.
